A paraglider has been airlifted off Snowdon after crashing 2,000ft (600m) up the mountain, rescue services say.
The 41-year-old man plunged 200ft (60m), landing at the bottom of a cliff at Cwm Brwnog, near Llanberis, Gwynedd.
He was taken to hospital at Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor on Monday night still conscious but with serious injuries.
The rescue operation involved the Llanberis mountain rescue team, the North Wales Police helicopter and an RAF Valley Sea King helicopter.
