An investigation is under way after the body of a 42-year-old man was found at a house in Cornwall.

Police were called to Prince Philip Road, Launceston, on Monday following the discovery in an upstairs bedroom of the end-of-terrace property.

The man has not yet been named by police, but officers said that he was believed to be a foreign national.

A post-mortem examination has been conducted and other tests were to carried out, police said.

Officers were called to the house at about 1840 BST on Monday.

Scenes of crime officers examined the inside of the house, trying to establish the circumstances in which the man died.

The death was first being treated as suspicious by officers, but was now being investigated as unexplained, police said.
