Saeb Erekat on leaked Palestinian documents

The latest batch of confidential documents from the Middle East claim that the Palestinian chief negotiator, Saeb Erekat, told a US official that Palestinians had to be killed in order to establish one authority and the rule of law in the Palestinians territories.

Mr Erekat has been talking to the BBC about the revelations obtained by the Al Jazeera news network and the Guardian newspaper.

Our West Bank Correspondent, Jon Donnison, asked him whether these leaks were a disaster for the leadership of the Palestinian Authority.
