Syrian protests hit Lebanon tourism

The Syrian uprising is now into its seventh month and the pro-democracy protests are having a knock-on effect on neighbouring Lebanon's tourism industry.

Hotels are reporting falls in occupancy rates, while tour companies and taxi drivers say a once steady flow of holidaymakers has been reduced to a trickle.
