Everybody loved Ray Gravell, says actor playing rugby legend
As a new play about former Welsh international Ray Gravell prepares to debut, the late rugby star has been described as someone "everybody loved" by the actor playing him.
"Everyone's got a story about him," said Gareth Bale, who plays the former BBC radio presenter in the new one-man show.
An excerpt from the play, called Grav, will be performed at Parc Y Scarlets on Tuesday.
Ray Gravell, who also played for Llanelli RFC, died in 2007, aged 56, after suffering complications with diabetes.
