Dungavel 'replacement' plans unveiled

Scotland's only detention centre, Dungavel, has been branded "inhumane".

A proposed new facility near Glasgow Airport could be its replacement but will hold less than 25% of the people Dungavel has.

The Home Office has described the 51-bed site as a "short-term holding facility".
