Western Isles 'betrayed' over wind farm subsidies

Political leaders in the Western Isles have described the decision to block subsidies for onshore wind as a betrayal.

Two major wind power schemes are planned for Lewis, promising a £1bn investment.

A new consultation was announced at Westminster, in November, on support for renewables on the islands.
