Pair bailed after baby dies in hospital

Two people arrested after the death of a baby have been released on bail.

Officers were called to an address in Buffett Way, Colchester, on Sunday evening by paramedics concerned for the welfare of the child.

Essex Police arrested a man and a woman after the baby died at hospital in the early hours of Monday.

They have since been bailed until June while inquiries continue.
