Bump Mark reveals if unopened food has spoiled
Solveiga Pakstaite, an industrial design and technology student from Brunel University London, has created a way to tell if food has gone off without opening its packaging.
She calls her design the "bump mark".
It is is a bio-reactive food expiry label which shows you when your food is going off in a tactile way, by becoming bumpy.
The label sits on the package and decays in the same process the food would.
BBC Click's Spencer Kelly spoke to her about the idea.
