Salvage teams working on the stranded car carrier Hoegh Osaka are towing it back to Southampton.
The degree of list on the 51,000-tonne ship has been reduced substantially, allowing the vessel to be towed.
It left at 14:30 GMT, earlier than planned, and is being towed up Southampton Water to Berth 101 at Southampton Docks.
