Severn Valley railway marks 50 years of preserving steam

Dr Beeching's cuts to train services in the 1960s may have made some routes a thing of the past. But one group is celebrating 50 years of preserving the steam trains of the Severn Valley railway.

The 16 mile line has been run by volunteers since the 1960s.
