Don't worry, we were completely confused when we first saw this too! But it's actually an Edinburgh Zoo worker called Rob Thomas who's been training for the London Triathlon in the penguin pool, trying to get fit for the event.

He's been practising for the 1,500 metre swim that's part of the Olympic sized triathlon coming up this weekend.

Making sure you get enough Omega 3 for the triathlon Rob?

A triathlon is an athletic event that involves three stages: cycling, swimming in open water and running.

Rob enjoyed it, and he reckons the penguins did too: "As well as excellent training for me in outdoor water, my swims have also provided fantastic enrichment for our extremely curious and friendly penguins."
