Thursday night saw a galaxy of stars perform at Gary Barlow's extravaganza in Manchester, Children in Need Rocks. First on stage was Lady Gaga who didn't disappoint the crowd. She opened the show with her hit Born This Way.

The show saw some great duets! Jessie J joined James Morrison to wow the 14,000 crowd. "I bumped into Gary when I came off stage and said 'thank you for letting me be part of something so magical,'" Jessie said.

Three of the X Factor judges were on stage on Thursday night. Tulisa peformed the official Children in Need song 'Teardrop' with The Collective - a group of artists who'd all come together to record the charity single.

Another X Factor judge was Kelly Rowland who sparkled on stage. Afterwards she was full of enthusiasm for the huge charity event. "The energy was through the roof," she said.

Superstars JLS set pulses racing with Take A Chance On Me and She Makes Me Wanna. They did their bit to get viewers and listeners to donate money to the Children in Need charity, which helps disadvantaged children in the UK.

The event was organised by X Factor judge Gary Barlow. He was going to duet with Cheryl Cole but she pulled out because she was ill. Gary got the crowd to duet with him instead! "I Want You Back" echoed across the MEN Arena.
