After jumping out the window of a car he (or maybe she - we can't tell from this distance) ran along a motorway in Arizona.

The tiny dog caused quite a stir and didn't seem to want to be caught.

The police officer who made the final catch said it tried to bite him when he picked it up.

In the end the fast four-legged friend was safely returned to its owner.
