The night included performances from stars like JLS and Olly Murs. One Direction opened the show with a performance of their hit song What Makes You Beautiful.

Matt Baker from The One Show finished his marathon Rickshaw ride just in time for the Children in Need show. He cycled nearly 500 miles from Edinburgh Castle, in Scotland, all the way back to BBC Television Centre in London and raised a massive £1.2 million!

Even the BBC newsreaders got into the spirit of the show! They danced with some of the Strictly Come Dancing stars to the Katy Perry song Fireworks. During their performance they took off their usual smart suits to reveal sparkly purple dresses!

JLS have been very busy with Children in Need - not only did they perform live on Friday's appeal show but they also wowed crowds at the Children in Need Rocks concert in Manchester the night before. They even had time for a quick chat with Leah!
