Firefighters rescue girl stuck in tree

Firefighters are known for rescuing cats stuck up trees, but in the American state of Texas they've had to rescue a girl who was stuck inside one too.

Anna, aged nine, was climbing the tree with her friends. She was about 10m high, when she slipped into a hole in the tree and fell all the way down to the bottom.

Firefighters had to be called in to help - they lowered ropes and a harness and managed to pull Anna to safety.

In total Anna had spent more than five hours stuck inside the tree!
