Bird-man 'Jarno Smeets' admits video was a hoax

A man who claimed to have flown using home-made wings has admitted it wasn't real.

The bird-man went on a Dutch TV show and admitted he's actually a filmmaker called Floris Kaayk.

In the video he used a fake name - calling himself Jarno Smeets.

He says he created the stunt as part of an experiment about online videos and said he attempted it because "It's everybody's dream to fly."

The video took 8 months to make and the footage fooled some people who watched it.
