Disabled man Tony Nicklinson fights to end his life

The job of doctors is to save lives and help people get better.

But if someone is suffering from extreme pain with no hope of recovery - should it ever be allowed for them to help them end their life?

This week Tony Nicklinson, a severely disabled man, went to court because he wants doctors to do exactly that.

It is illegal in the UK for a doctor to end a person's life, but after being paralysed for seven years, Tony wants the courts to make an exception.
