Britain's biggest dog show - Crufts - is in full swing in Birmingham. The four-day show features over 25,000 dogs - like this Afghan hound.

Dogs in the show are expected to show off how well trained they are. This talented Foxhound is shaking hands with a man. What impeccable manners!

Owners spend a lot of time making their pets look prim and proper. This standard poodle is having its locks straightened.

These two shih tzu dogs have had their hair done and are ready to be judged. Dogs compete against others of the same breed to be crowned Best In Class - and one overall winner will be named Best In Show.

This cool customer is a basset hound called Larry who came third in class in the competition.

This pampered pooch is getting the celebrity treatment and having its hair perfected for the show. Competitors travelling from 41 countries to take part.

There's no limousine to drop these pups off at the show - but hopefully their jackets and legwarmers will keep their fur dry in the rain.

This dog is totally on-trend with a tiger stripe onesie! The novelty outfits have been seen on big stars like One Direction and now look like they're taking the canine fashion scene by storm.

Dogs of every shape and size take part in the competition, from this tiny little daschund to the big, beastly bloodhound.

This cute bulldog is a winner in our eyes - he's won our hearts.

These Afghan hounds are dressed in their best and ready to impress.

Competing in the show is hard work, so Caitlin and her Irish wolfhound are having a well deserved nap.
