Blizzard freezes Slovenian streets

It looks like a beautiful winter wonderland but an icy blizzard has caused a lot of trouble in parts of Europe. These trees in the city of Postojna, Slovenia have turned to ice.
The frosty spell means trains have been cancelled and roads are dangerous to drive on. This man needs to defrost his car before he can even think of driving anywhere!
The strong winds that come with a blizzard blew power lines down. Over a third of schools in the country have been closed.
1 in 4 homes in Slovenia have no electricity at the moment after power lines iced up. People have been told not to drink tap water at the moment.
It's not just Slovenia feeling the chill. Parts of Croatia, Germany and Serbia have been affected too. It's one of the worst blizzards to hit Europe in decades.
