Prince George's royal crawl-about in New Zealand

Prince George has made his first official public engagement - a crawl-about with other babies in New Zealand.

He is on a 19-day tour of New Zealand and Australia with his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

They visited a childcare group called Plunket in the capital city Wellington on Wednesday.

Prince George played with 10 other babies from a big range of backgrounds. All of them were born within a few weeks of George's birthday - 22 July 2013.

The eight-month-old future king appeared calm, although there were tears from some of the other babies.

George was dressed in blue dungaree shorts, a white blouse and soft blue pre walking shoes.

The royal tour is due to finish in the Australian capital Canberra on 25 April.
