Jess Ennis-Hill leading at World Athletics Championships

Olympic champion Jessica Ennis-Hill leads the World Athletics Championships heptathlon after two events, with fellow Brit Katarina Johnson-Thompson in second place.

Jess matched her season's best with 1.86m in the high jump, having run 12.91 seconds in the 100m hurdles.

Teammate Katarina achieved 1.89m from the high jump despite struggling with her run-up.

Next up for the athletes will be shot put and javelin on Saturday evening.
