A researcher at Newscastle University has caught a grey seal clapping underwater on camera for the very first time!

Dr Ben Burville had been trying to capture the unique sound for a whopping 17 years.

He described the sound as "incredibly loud" and couldn't quite believe his luck when he witnessed the clap.
