Banknotes: Why do Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own money?

Brand new £20 notes have come out from all three of the banks in Scotland that print their own notes.

They're similar in colour and features as the Bank of England's new £20 note that was released on 20 February.

But they all have different designs on them representing Scottish culture and history.

Sameena's been to Edinburgh to find out why Scotland prints its own banknotes and what children living there think of it.
