Black History Month: Why I'm proud to be black

Throughout Black History Month, many people take the time to learn about black history for the positive stories and for the sad stories too.

Sometimes the sad stories can be upsetting, however it can give many black people the opportunity to appreciate their history and be proud of all the great things they have achieved.

Newsround spoke to some pupils about how they feel about their heritage and why they're proud to be black.
