A new vaccine is being developed for elephants

Chester Zoo is starting a world first vaccine trial that could save the lives of young elephants.

It’s been designed to protect the animals from a virus that is responsible for a lot of deaths of Asian elephants in zoos.

It's hoped the vaccine can be developed and then used on animals in the wild.
