Government to test new emergency alert system

The government is testing a new emergency alert system on Sunday 23 April at 3pm.

The first time this alert happens it is just as a test so it's nothing to worry about, but in the future it could be letting you know about a real emergency.

So what can we expect these alerts to look and sound like?
