World Book Day is celebrated on the first Thursday in March, and is all about sharing a love of books and reading.
In the UK a group of crafters created these knitted postbox toppers to celebrate the day.
From Willy Wonka, to The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Paddington Bear, take a look at their creations.

How have you celebrated World Book Day this year? Maybe you read your favourite book, or dressed as a favourite character from a story you love.
Well some creatives have been using crochet hooks to celebrate World Book Day, by putting together some postbox toppers of famous stories.
Crocheting involves taking a thread, often wool, and weaving it into patterns using a crochet hook.
It can be used to make all sorts of things - clothing, blankets and cuddly toys.
Postbox toppers are usually crocheted or knitted scenes, put on top of postboxes. Sometimes they're made to celebrate certain times of the year, or special days like World Book Day.
Debbie Williamson knitted this Hungry Caterpillar-inspired piece in Nottinghamshire - complete with worry worms for people to help themselves to. She said it took a long time to make all the food, as she had to improvise with how to make crochet salami
