The Wales team arrive at Derby's Pride Park for their European Under-21 qualifier with Gareth Southgate's England. Wales, who have beaten Moldova, Lithuania and San Marino, are six points behind Group 1 leaders England with four games remaining. Kick-off is 18:00 GMT.

Northern Ireland are bidding to end a goal drought in away friendlies when they face Cyprus. Michael O'Neill's team have not scored in their last nine friendlies on the road, stretching back to 2006. "We'll pick a team with a lot of attacking options against Cyprus and we want to see that bear fruit," says Northern Ireland boss O'Neill.

Former England international Chris Waddle speaking to BBC Sport about England v Denmark: "If you had to ask a million people will England win the World Cup this summer, I'm not sure anyone, apart from the most patriotic, would say yes.

"If the youngsters play well, they will have the media and the fans on their side. People will be saying take the youngsters to Brazil so we can make a really serious challenge to win Euro 2016 in France.

"If it was me, I would do that and say get them ready for France. I don't think Roy Hodgson should be judged on what happens in Brazil, he should be judged on how we do in France."

Portuguese champions Porto sack coach Paulo Fonseca after only nine months at the helm.

His dismissal comes after third-placed Porto, champions for the last three seasons, dropped nine points behind leaders Benfica following Sunday's draw at Vitoria Guimaraes.

Porto, who were knocked out in the Champions League group stage but have reached the last 16 of the Europa League, lost a five-and-a-half-year unbeaten home league record when they were beaten 1-0 by Estoril 10 days ago.

Manager Gordon Strachan is not concerned about giving anything away when Scotland meet Poland in Warsaw later. The friendly was arranged before the teams were grouped together in the Euro 2016 qualifiers. "It's a long way away before the first competitive game," says Strachan.

Manchester United's Darren Fletcher is poised to make his international return. The 30-year-old has not represented his country since November 2012. But he has battled back from an operation to treat a chronic bowel condition.
